๐ŸŽฒ Reroll Guide

Should you reroll? Yes. Here's exactly who to target and how to do it efficiently.

โš ๏ธ Beta / Evolution Test Data Updated July 28, 2026 โฑ ~15 min per reroll
โš ๏ธ Post-Test Notice: The Evolution Test has ended, and this guide still uses earlier beta data as a reroll watchlist. Do not treat any pick as final launch meta until official or verifiable post-test data confirms skill, pool, and acquisition changes.

Should You Reroll?

Yes, absolutely. Nexus Anima's Auto-chess system makes your starting Anima roster matter more than in traditional gacha games. A strong S-Tier Anima on your account from day one will carry you through the first 20+ Planes with significantly less grinding.

The good news: rerolling is relatively fast. You can complete a full reroll in around 15 minutes once you know what you're doing. It's worth doing at least 3โ€“5 rolls before settling on an account.

Best Reroll Targets

These are the S and A-Tier Anima available on the standard banner. Aim for at least one S-Tier before keeping your account.

๐ŸŒธ
Soluna TOP PICK
๐ŸŒ™ Dark ยท โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜… ยท Standard Banner
The best AoE damage dealer in Beta. Dark Bloom passive stacks indefinitely in long fights โ€” she only gets stronger as Planes increase in difficulty. Also synergises with all Dark-type team comps.
S
โšก
Voltrix TOP PICK
โšก Wind ยท โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜… ยท Standard Banner
Chain Lightning hits up to 4 enemies simultaneously. In Auto-chess where fights are often 4v4 or 5v5, this is exceptional value. Wind Synergy teams built around Voltrix are the most consistent in Beta.
S
โ„๏ธ
Glaciara
๐Ÿ’ง Water ยท โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜… ยท Standard Banner
If you prefer a more defensive style, Glaciara is the best healer/CC unit in Beta. Freeze reliably slows enemies and her healing output is unmatched. Essential for high Plane progression.
S
๐Ÿ”ฅ
Emberon If no S-Tier
๐Ÿ”ฅ Fire ยท โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜… ยท Standard Banner
Strong A-Tier unit. If you've done 5+ rerolls without getting Soluna or Voltrix, Emberon is an acceptable stop-point. Good single-target damage and easy to build around early.

How to Reroll โ€” Step by Step

1

Download and create a guest account

Launch Nexus Anima and select "Play as Guest" or create a new HoYoverse account. Do not link it to your main account yet.

2

Complete the tutorial (~10 min)

Play through the mandatory tutorial. You cannot skip this on a fresh account. The tutorial itself grants your first pulls, so pay attention to the tutorial banner rewards.

3

Collect all beginner pulls

After the tutorial, claim all available Crystal Fragments (the pull currency) from your Mailbox, Mission rewards, and the Beginner Bundle if available for free.

4

Spend pulls on the Standard Banner

Use all pulls on the Standard Banner (not the limited event banner). The beginner pool has a higher chance of S-Tier Anima. Aim for at least 10 pulls (one full pity cycle).

5

Check your result

Did you get Soluna, Voltrix, or Glaciara? If yes โ€” link your account and keep it. If not, delete the guest data and repeat from step 1.

6

Link your account

Once you're happy with your Anima, go to Settings โ†’ Account โ†’ Link to HoYoverse Account. This permanently saves your progress.

โฑ Time-saving tip: Some Android emulators allow you to copy-paste apk save states. If you're rerolling on PC via emulator, you can save after the tutorial and restore it to skip the 10-minute tutorial each time.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many pulls can I get on a fresh account?
Based on Beta, a new account can collect approximately 20โ€“30 pulls before needing to spend real money. This comes from the tutorial, Mailbox, starter missions, and the Beginner's Crystal Pack (if free at launch).
Is A-Tier worth keeping if I can't get S-Tier?
If you've done 8โ€“10 rerolls without S-Tier, Emberon (A-Tier) is a reasonable stopping point. The time cost of continuing to reroll starts to outweigh the benefit. You can obtain S-Tier Anima through gameplay pity later.
Should I pull on the limited event banner instead?
Not for rerolling. Save your limited pulls for the first event banner after launch. The Standard Banner is more reroll-friendly because you can reset easily, and the Beginner Pool has guaranteed rates on Standard Banner Anima.
Does rerolling account matter long-term?
Yes more than typical gacha games, because Auto-chess team synergies mean your core Anima shapes your entire strategy for the first 30+ Planes. S-Tier Anima also provide unique Synergy groups that can't be replicated with lower-tier units.
